I'm old and terrible(and a whiner), and people half my age(well almost) are much better than me at pretty much everything. Their work makes you feel like crap and inspires you at the same time. Weird.

I started drawing umm... in March? Although I did do art in year 9 and 10, which involved going to class and talking, rarely would pencil touch paper. That was about 7 years ago? And I did half a year in Digital media Design last year, which taught me the basics of sketching with pencil, using photoshop/illustrator/flash. Then got a job doing a little bit of CAD for the remainder of the year. Then they could no longer afford me(fired!). Yay. Then 6 months of bumming. Well now you know my life story. Check my (s)crapbook for terrible stuff if you want to feel better about yourself. I'll chuck some more horrible stuff in there sometime. I've gotten one complete work done about.. once a month? I'd rather it be one a day! So lazy... If anyone would like to threaten me with beatings if I don't draw, that would be lovely.

Anyway, I learned a bit more about photoshop this week. So that's good. I still suck with pencil, or anything that doesn't have an undo function. I've been looking around at some online places to learn figure drawing/anatomy/drawing in general so I am able to pull poses/creatures/environments out of my head and know what they look like without a reference.
